Spiritual Love

There is a love of spirits
That can merge into emotional,
Which can merge into the physical
Yet is always the wonderful hues
Of the spiritual union of man and woman.

There is a love of spirits
That changes dreams
That refashions needs
That transforms expectations

There is a love of spirits
That bonds mere mortals
In the manner of Gods unity with man
In obedience to Gods desire for man
In a relationship pleasing to Him

There is a love of spirits
That makes give and take
a natural action easy and smooth,
Because giving is love,
And accepting is love,
And sensitivity of spirits
helps both recognize which is needed.

There is a love of spirits
That takes simple touch
And makes each one unique,
Makes a pure and gentle kiss
An act of wonderful intimacy,
And turns loving touches
Into an explosion of fireworks
that those without this union of spirits can never know.

There is a love of spirits
That makes physical love more powerful
Than words could ever explain.
