Outside the Box
Outside the Box
By Rich Reith

There once was a simple man
For whom the box was too constraining.
So he crafted exercises -
"Thinking outside the box," his training.

Wondrously, he learned of things
That the "box" kept so many from learning.
And, with purpose, he lived a life
Where loving was much more than yearning

Inside the box is a safe world,
And caring questioning has no place.
Outside the box is the reality
Of loving, of tenderness, of grace.
